I want to set up a IBM 2391 (Matricielle) on my Redhat 7.3 server and share it to the other redhat computer (client). It's work fine but i lose caracters when the line is too long. Does it's possible to set how many max char long the printer can print ?

Im not sure but it sounds as if you were using a wrong filter for your printer. Try to add another virtual printer with a different filter that corresponds to the same physical printer. Did you try APSfilter? If you configure it correctly there should be no problems.

How can i change/add a new filter ? Befause in Xwin, i have only those 2 filters : C and ja_JP
Maybe i'm in a wrong place ?!
