Print Problem

HI... I use a program via telnet, and in the server I set a var. PRINTER=lp@$REMOTEHOST, and configure a queue in the workstation with yhe name lp and it prints with no problem in red hat 7.3 in KDE...
The problem is when I upgrade my workstation to rh 9 it stops printing, and everyting is configured (i think)... I tried fedora but it still donīt print...

Does someone knows what's happening???

thanx...
