pre-formatting for slackware


how do i pre-format my hd for slackware?

im guessing that I will have to have a bootdisk, seeing as im tring to format the partition that linux-fdisk is on.

anyone got a bootdisk i could use?

if you boot from the cd it will work fine from there, sets up a basic shell which you can go from.

yeah, exactly like acid_kewpie said, just put in your CD ,and your pc should boot from it. The formatting of your hardrive is done during installation, and the most common program to format your hardrive is Disk Druid...and I assume what the rest is, , but if otherwise let us know.
