pppd dialout connection issues help!

Hi guys, I am trying to setup a dial out ppp connection to a windows 2003 RAS using pppd 2.4.1, however I am have a fair bit of trouble getting the actual connection established...the output of my debugging and options file is below but from what I can see it originally tries to auth using chap 81 which fails as it is a MS implementation, pppd then requests for MD5 auth and then goes through the challenge/response procedure which works ok. The server then tries to implement CCP which fails (but from that I have read this shouldnt be an issue) then uses VJ header compression but that is rejected as well, after which the connection gets terminated which I cant understand? If anyone can give me any hints/tips it woudl be highly appreciated

EDIT: I forgot to mention, checking the logs on the W2003 server shows the failure as: encrytption type not supported
