Postfix help...no one seems to help anymore!

Hi,

I can't seem to get postfix working. How do I know if it IS working first of all?

I have a domain nam and it's pointed to my linux box. The linux box is on a network w/ two other comps. Each comp has its own nic and they all have their own cat5 going to the mn100 router. The router has port 25 forwarded to my linux box(192.168.2.27).

Im using zoneedit for my nameservers. Anything else you need, just ask me. I have webmin installed as well. Thank you.

Is this a SuSE box?

"How do I know if it IS working first of all?"
Just:
/etc/init.d/postfix status
and '/etc/init.d/postfix start' and '/etc/init.d/postfix stop' respectively.

Another way to tell if it is running locally try:
micxz@mars~> telnet localhost 25
You should get something like:
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 mars.home ESMTP Postfix
