postfix as a backup MX-what is needed?

Hi,

My linux machine will be down for a month due to my moving and my buddy said I can use his linux to hold all my email til I am back-up again.

He is using postfix and I am also. How do I go about this?
do I need DNS? anything else?

Thanks
