Possible to move title bar to left or right side of a window?

I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's possible, under any desktop environment or window manager, to change the location on a window of the title bar. I think I've seen title bars totally separated, or that auto-hide, but not ones reorganized to be on the left/right/bottom side of the window. I find that I run out of vertical screen real estate much more so than horizontal, and it would be nice to tweak a little extra space by moving the title bars off the top.

Thanks,
Don

Thanks Mahmoud. I've been meaning to give fvwm or xfce a try sometime. They both look lightweight yet very slick.

you can give a try to icewm

icewm is some kind of fvwm already programed, windows way. icewm has looooot of cool themes.

all those wm can do a lot, and fvwm is the best for programing your own one. You can even make fvwm heavy as a kde or gnome
