Port Com / psaux ? for the mouse

Hi, How do I tell what port com's what?

MD8.1 keeps asking me on setting up the mouse either through the Kde or mouseconfig what port com my mouse is on?

I have an asus p2b mb and the mouse plugs in the back on its dedicated socket. Psaux I think. I had a look in Win98 and I can't tell from there either, as I have also tried and tested the 8 port coms given by mouse config but they all failed.

My mouse is a MS intellimouse 1.1a PS/2 compatible, two button wheeled mouse which does work with linux, specifically MD7.2.

Any ideas for the last distro I used was MD7.2 and it never asked such a question regarding port coms as it also worked fine.

The problem seems to have sorted itself out. Donīt ask me how, but the mouse now fully works.
