Did you created the user database?
Do you have the same login name registered in the user database?.

try this:

/usr/bin/popauth -init

once the database is created, you can add users to it with this command.

/usr/bin/popauth -user user

where user is the name of the user you want to add to the database.

i.e.

/usr/bin/popauth -user hubergeek

it will ask for a passwd. just type the desired passwd. and that's all.

I hope it helps.

BTW....

I had problems with MS Outlook, I can read the mail off the server, but, I can't send mail using outlook.

I keep getting this error:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'lnx_server', Server: 'lnx_server', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I can send and recieve mail using KMail on the server's KDE screen. I guess the server won't take external conections on port 25.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Hubergeek
