Playing newer games under linux

Is it possible to play f.eks. Morrowind ( http://www.elderscrolls.com <- Find system specs ) under Linux Mandrake, and will wine slow game like hell or will it crash more often than in Windows?

I have never been able to try playing under linux, my linux computer sucks!

Damn, I want Mandrake on my step-fathers 1,4ghz machine!

Time to whine to get used to wine!

I've heard that there will be Linux version of Morrowind. I'm not sure if it's true, but look into it.

Great rumours Mara! Time to e-mail developers and ask why Windows then Linux, not vice versa!
