Playing animated gif with mplayer and loop?

Hi,

I have tried to play a gif with the command
Code:
mplayer -loop 0 -fs -zoom animated.gif
It is not very successful since it play fine the animated
gif but only once, and then mplayer gets stuck to the
last frame of the gif. If you know a workaround, please feel
free to let me know.

Pat

Is this a general problem or just with one specific animated gif? If it is just the one then the gif is correct/corrupt.

I just tried the mplayer command you used and it works for the gif's I checked (+/- 6 of them).

BTW: the -fs option isn't supported by all video output drivers.
