Play a wav sound when you login


I want to hear a wav sound when I login to linux Is it possible?

I login in the console btw.

Sure. In your ~/.bash_login file, just put a command to play that sound file with a Console Wav player.

You may have to create that file, and notice the "." before the file name.

Example:

mpg321 /home/contrasutra/sounds/foo.wav
