hi everyone ! how to applied permission on /etc directory.....
i want to deny all permission except me(owner).....is this possible?

Spell out your words, and write clearly.

And what you're wanting is possible, but not a good idea. If NO ONE but you can get into that directory, how do you expect ANYONE else to be able to log in? System services may even have problems too. Do not play with the permissions on /etc, unless you know what you're doing and why.
