Unhappy PHP + redhat


Im using Redhat 7.1 got apache installed on it, mysql also... both works fine... exept php
I have installed PHP, but when I try to access a PHP script file via my browser, I get a blank screen. I know I have to check some how the server configuration against the PHP installation instructions. CAn you tell me how?

Can anyone give me a complete list of RPMs needed by redhat to operate with apache, mysql +php.

there are various ways to install php. how did you try that? as an apache module or static? iīve never done an installation with rpmīs but i heard that you need a module_php.rpm for that. if you read the READMEīs or INSTALL files it shouldnīt be a problem
post if it doesnīt work. itīs easy to set it up using php4.2.0.tar.gz
and compile it. i can tell u in detail if needed.

Well, I was looking at apache.organd couldnt find the appropriate package for linux 7.1..there is one for 7.0 and 7.2. Which one do you thin I should start instaling? I already downloaded both...

Hi,

I found it real hard to install them all together when i first tried it but i found a post on this forum which helped me a hell of alot. I think the link below is the one that helped me (too long ago )
