Im sorry for bothering so much but now i have an issue with php nuke... not a big one.... it runs perfectly...

i just need a couple of pointers on stuff...

like for example when i try to add user it tell me that i will send me an email but i never get the email.... why is that??

For some reason phpnuke doesn't send emails to some providers like "AOL", well try checking your bulk mail, your confirmation mail is usually there (unless you have AOL like I said before)

another questions i will be giving people to download linux off my site... i will had Redhat, suse ,md, slack, etc...


i wanna put them on a separate hd and make a simlink to that folder like this..

for example my html is on /dev/hda1 and my linux files are in /dev/hdb1

so i did this!

sn -sf /home/htdocs/html/donwloads /media/linux

and if i test it.. say i put a file in /media/linux/work.txt

and i do this localhost/downloads/linux/work.txt it will open it or ask me to downlaod it...


but i also have direectories in that folder for example

localhost/downloads/linux/gentoo/gentoo.iso

it will tell me that the file was not found WHEN THE file is there can anyone help me!
