PHP & Apache

I have a Sun Sparcstation IPC running Debian Linux (potato), I put mysql on it, not bother, and php compiled ok, but when it came to adding the php module to apache I got the following error:

modules/php4/libphp4.a: could not read symbols: File truncated

I'm following the tutorial here: http://e-gineer.com/instructions/ins...on-linux.phtml

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.

Regards.
