PHAT Linux anygood?


is phat linux any good, can u compile with it

is it a distro like Suse or Redhat but that works with fat32 instead of ext2

Sounds like Zipslack to me which uses UMSDOS to run
in a DOS file parition. Your first options is alway to do a native install.

No, looks more like BigSlack. It seems to have a bunch of X11 Window managers.

It used to be a free download, but now they seem to want $25 for it. Their site doesn't give any details on how up-to-date the distro is. Last time I checked, it was falling behind.

you can download it, the download link is at the bottom of the get phatlinux page (after all the pay for it junk)

I have it now and it is very good considerin it is runnin on a fat32 filesystem
