permission ... permissions .... permissions

Hi I want to knwo if the owner of a file is also a membmer of the class other?

If the file protecion on a file are set so that only those in class "other" have read/write/execute access, does the owner still have access to the file?

What do u think? And how i can validate that? I think that the owner also belongs to the other category....

to test?, thats easy

just create a file, change its permissions, then see
Code:
touch ./test-perm
chmod 006 ./test-perm
echo hi > ./test-perm
cat ./test-perm
if the last commands outputs something like "hi", it still works
