hey all, hopeing you can help me out here, newbie and all.

When ever I shutdown/reboot my box, it always freezes on the 'shutting down pcmcia', I have a 3Com 568 LAN card in there, and it always freezes. I've checked the pcmcia config, but nothing in there tells me it is freezing. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a different card?
 
At least you would know if it's the card or the PC's hardware.
