patching my server

I'm using Red hat enterprise AS 4 update 4
I have around 20 Linux servers that have never been patched
i don't have a rhn account.

Can i use up2date in an efficient way to patch all my server?

where must i register to get security update emails from redhat ?

Thank you

To use RHN, you'll first have to buy subscriptions for your systems. I believe that latest update for you would be RHEL 4.8.
However, if you get the chance, moving up to the latest (RHEL 5.4) would be a good idea.
Note however that RH does NOT support upgrading across major versions ie 4.x -> 5.x http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...ted_Notes.html.
Instead they recommend backup data & do fresh install.
