there is a reset password pinhole next to the led screen. Hold it in for a couple seconds.

Hello i have the same problem i think it's due to a change with pam RPM but i don't know how to resolve the probleme
Please Help

Talking Solution

i had the same problem but after hours i discovered the problem ( may be it wont resolve yours)
passwd uses some modules that dont appear using ldd /usr/bin/passwd
those modules are installed with rpms :
cracklib
libxcrypt

after installing those rpms it works fine

i discovered the problem using
strace passwd
and seeing the files that couldn't be opened

hoping that it will help somebody
