"partiton check". I do not install redhat 8.0

Hello,

I have searched enough on this topic but i am not able to get a solution
that would solve the problem.

I have two hard drive, one is quantum 6.4G, the other is quantum 3.2G. I install Redhat 8.0 from CD. At the beginning of the installation, the screen display:

Partition check:
hda:hda1
hdb:

and nothing else.
(hda is my quantum 6.4G hard drive; hdb is my quantum 3.2G hard drive)
I think the 3.2G hard drive is no error because it can run win2k correctly.

please help me!!!
