Partitioning - Primary and Logical partitions
 

I think I already know the answer to this question but I just want to make sure.
Can you you just logical partitions?
I am thinking of putting 3 or 4 distributions on my hd and want to make sure I partition the hd properly.

Yes, but it's a good idea to make your boot partition primary although it's not necessary.
