Question overwrite a harddisk

Hello @,

want to overwrite a harddisk with a definite pattern (so not only with zero like dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda does). Has anybody an idea???

I haven't looked recently, but I believe that I've had a few submissions for this exact purpose listed on my website. Look in the Software Directory. I do know that there are a few boot floppies listed.
