Okay, so I just downloaded it as the rpm and have it up and running. I downloaded it onto a temp directory on my desktop and did the install from there. In order to run Opera though, I have to go to a command line and type Opera. Where was the program installed. I'd like to create a shortcut to it on my desktop but the command 'locate opera' is leaving me empty handed.

Thanks again!

find / -name '*opera*' -print
Try a variation:

find / -name '*Opera*' -print

If you're using Mdk 8.2, go into Menudrake and create a menu entry for it and enter opera into the command field. You can then create a shortcut on the kicker by right clicking.......
