Ubuntu 16.04 64bit
AMD 8-core
RAM 32G
Video RAM 2G
OpenShot 1.4.3
Blender 2.7.8
(Blender can be started running on terminal;
blender
or /usr/bin/blender)
On OpenShot -> Animated Title Editor
Selecting any Thumb Name starts following warning:
Code:
Blender, the free open source 3D content creation suite is required for this action (http://www.blender.org).
Please check the preferences in OpenShot and be sure the Blender executable is correct. This setting should be the path of the 'blender' executable on your computer. Also, please be sure that it is pointing to Blender version 2.62 or greater.
Blender Path:
/usr/bin/blender (also tried - blender)
Error Output:
No frame was found in the output from Blender
I have tried several versions of OpenShot such as;
openshot-qt
openshot-edge
according to the suggestions found on Internet but without luck.
Whether Ubuntu 16.04 is not suitable for running OpenShot?

...telling you how to adjust the path. You may also want to check your thread on the other forums you've posted this exact same question to, since you've also received answers THERE as well.

Hi,
You're right. There are dozens of suggestion on Internet. Before posting I have tried several suggestions without luck, problem still remaining.
Finally I took the advice from OpenShot forum downgrading Blender to version 2.69.

...and since you've been here 14 YEARS now, you should be well aware that you have to provide details when asking a question. Even though we've had to ask you time and again to do so. We have NO IDEAS what you've done/tried, unless you actually tell us, do we?

New Animated Titles works except "Dissolving Text". The warning mentioned on my original posting popup. I suppose the newer Blender version doesn't work with OpenShot. I'll test Kdenlive, the latest version later.
So instead of fixing the issue, you downgraded? Ok then.
