Rep: Reputation: 15 cant read .doc formula?!

Hi guys.
When I open a Microsoft word file in OpenOffice, the existing formulae could not be recognized.

This also happens when you type a formula in (and save it as a .doc file) and then try to open it with microsoft word.

Any Solution?

It works for me with most formula, though it doesnt like h-bar (planks constant on 2pi).
You can always try something like abiword or kword which for me have given better/worse results. It all depends on the file I suppose.
