open office install
 

While trying to install Open Office build 641c on Mandrake 8.2 I get the following error:

[root@linux install]# ./setup /net
glibc version: 2.2.4
/tmp/sv001.tmp/setup.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[root@linux install]#

Remove the parameter. Install it in /home/username

Problem solved. I found the libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 file online and installed it. The install seem to go fine, but after installing it in the home directories I only have access to star write from my home directory and no entries show up in the kmenu.
