On the lighter side

Just want to know if anyone has scored over 5000 at Same Gnome. I love that little game!

Best I've ever gotten is 1956. Gotta say that I waste most of my time with Ktron.

I've gotten to level 10 on frozen-bubble. That's more addicting than anything besides LQ ;)

I might give Same Gnome a go though, always looking for a new cooky game to tinker on. :)

Cool

Does anyone know how to terminate frozen-bubble properly? There's no quit button and the software kill -15 doesn't work. The only way to terminate it is by using the sledgehammer kill -9 %jobno.

PS. Level 50 is a bitch.

Cheers
Bert

Been a while, but have you tried "escape"? I think it gets you out at least to a menu with a "quit" option.

:)

Cool

Ah, the only silly game I play on occasion is Majhongg and my best personal record is completing one board in about 1 minute and 26 seconds.. if anyone has beaten that score I'd like to know.. cause usually it takes me about 4 to 5 minutes tops..

Tux racer all the way, and the level "Who says Penguins can't fly" I love getting tux up over 200 mph.

Yes. Escape works
Cheers.

TuxRacer won't work on my hardware. I wish it did! Frozen-bubble is frighteningly addictive. It's very much a sysadmin kinda game, a bit like the free and superb "elf bowling" or "elf bowling 2" for Windows boxes.
