I took my own advice that I learned from phone modems and bought a product that would work out of the box. Samsung and Brother printers are Linux friendly. If you go to the less known retailers of them, they usually include the listing for Linux capability or not.

You do have to configure the (smallest font option) on the browser or text editor/word-processor it's self, NOT the printer options. It's under preferences usually. If you try to adjust the font's any other way it won't work.
