Ok more problems after install with laptop
Ok, now the install is finish. Redhat 7.3.. Now when I boot my computer it says "Invalid system disk: Replace the disk, and then press any key"
1) I do not have CD's or floppys in the drive
2) I tryed going in to the BIOS and setting up to boot from the HardDrive and not the Floopy.
3) I did not make a boot floopy disk.. Since I'm can only have one drive in the bay at the time, the CD or the Floopy. How can I make a boot disk? I have one but for my other computer and it boots up to hd3 which I'm sure is not the drive for the Laptop.
Any suggestions??? Thanks..

Sure looks like a Windows or old DOS error.
Cheers--

2) I tryed going in to the BIOS and setting up to boot from the HardDrive and not the Floopy. <------Were you successful?
Have you tried this: Boot with your install CD and at the prompt enter:
linux root=/dev/hdx
'x' needs to be the drive you installed linux on. (/dev/hda or /dev/hdb) and if you have more than 1 partition you would enter the partition number as well /dev/hda1 or /dev/hda2 for example.
To make a boot floppy go to the other linux box and try this:
mkbootdisk --device /dev/fd0 2.4.xx (substitute your kernel version for '2.4.xx')

Thanks to everyone.. My problem is fix now.. I reinstalled Linux.. It was a paint in the butt.. Since the laptop can't boot from CD.. I had to install DOS 6.2 and then run the command to run the Linux CD.. The problem I had was because I forgot to install GRUB.. Now is all set... Now one thing.. When I boot my computer it only reconizes the drive thats in the bay, thats either the CD or the Floopy drive.. Is there a way that I could use both without booting up the computer? When the computer had win98 before all I had to do was take one drive out and insert the other and it would work.. I tryed doing this with Linux but lets say I booted the computer with the CD drive in the bay, if i take it out and put the floopy drive, Linux would still think is the cd drive.. Thanks again.

What about unmounting your floppy, switching drives and mounting the cd or visa-versa? I guess I was lucky w/ my laptop install as I had an external floppy drive to boot from.

This laptop is for my friend.. And this is the first time he will ever use Linux.. I want to make stuff as easier as I can for him.. Since he won't even have internet.. It will be hard for him to get info or help if he do something wrong or something is not working right..
