NVidia Drivers under Gentoo Linux

I ran the NVidia drivers, but it said something about editing the necessary config files, and I'm not sure which ones to edit.

It had to build its own kernel interface, if that helps.

In Red Hat, it configured itself, but I'm not sure how to make it work in Gentoo.

Can someone help me?

There's a pretty good walkthrough for setting up XFree86 and nvidia on Gentoo. The only thing you should need to edit is /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.
