NVIDIA driver installation

I'm having a small problem with installing the Linux drivers for NVIDIA graphics cards.

I have the two .rpm files from http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=linux (the first two in the list).

Following the instructions from http://www.nvidia.com/docs/lo/1021/SUPP/README.txt, I can do the rpm -ivh stuff with the kernel file no problem. However, once I perform the rpm-ivh command with the GLX file, I am told "NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-1541.i386.rpm: read manifest failed: Success".

Logic suggests to me this wasn't successful (despite it saying 'Success'). Any ideas what might be going wrong here?

This is on a clean install of Redhat 7.2.

Thanks,
Dave

Sorted now - just downloaded the tar.gz file and did it that way instead.

Yeah, it's a well known fact that nvidia can't even make an rpm file properly...
