Nvidia 2

Well im posting another since the other one died, ive been looking for this answer for a month and now one has no clues well this is it. well i found it and typed:

Code:
ls -a System/nVidiaXFree86Drivers
[B]Then it showed the list of tar.gz files that were in the directory and they were:[B]

Code:
NVIDIA GIX-1.0-4191.tar.gz : NVIDIA-KERNEL-1.0-4191-unified.tar.gz : NVIDIA_kernal-1.0-4191.tar.gz
I picked the one that has the file "unified" and a ERROR popped up saying:

Code:
tar (child): NVIDIS_kernal-1.0-4191-unified.tar.gz: cannot open: No such file or directory

tar (child) error is not recoverble ecxiting now.
People told me something about the RPM well i done it and this error: well it started when i found the file and typed this
Code:
rpm --rebuild NVIDIA_kernal-1.0-4191.tar.gz
Then this error came up
Code:
error:Cannot open NVIDIA_kernal-1.0-4191.tar.gz : No such file or directory
Then i tried the whole location of it and this error came up
Code:
error : System/nNIDIAXFree86Drivers/NVIDIA_kernal-1.0-4191.tar.gz cannot install
Im gonna quit nearly now because all that comes up is a ERROR ERROR ERROR! i'm sick of it, well i hope yous can help if yous cant yous will lose one active member

First of all you should post the commands you're executing, only the result is not enough. Second, Yoper seems to support rpm, deb and slack tgz's. You *will* need to know the commands and flags to perform upgrades and installs tho.

Im gonna quit nearly now because all that comes up is a ERROR ERROR ERROR!
If you are in need of a mindless drooling computing experience w/o any need for knowledge and perseverance, then by all means load up Wintendo.

First of all, what's a "yous"?
Second, I think you can't be seriously thinking that argument will speed up us helping you?

For starters, you've spelled kernel wrong, which probably explains some of your difficulties?
