ntfs partition permissions

Ive been able to mount my ntfs partition, but for some reason, am unable to change/delete or move any files to that partition.

Ive used same fstab line I`ve used for that same partition, when it was fat32 (before i converted it to ntfs) which is:
Code:
/dev/hda5 /mnt/windows ntfs auto,user,umask=000 0 0
I had no problem before i converted that partition...
Now im getting `access denied` whenever i want to change anything under that partition - even if im using root...

Any ideas?

The Linux NTFS driver doesn't have write support; see this. You shouldn't have converted it from FAT.

oh dear...
well, i guessed it had something to do with the fs, just wasn`t sure.

Unfortunately, i had no way to work around it since fat32 has a 4gb file size limit, and i needed the space to rip some dvds...
