Nothing To See Here But A Closed Thread

HI!

I am planning to suit HP (no joke). It was my money (I worked hard to earn it), and i sure ain't happy with my machine. No USB, no hotplug, no ieee1394, no firewire, no one-touch buttons,etc,etc... just to name a few. If you take a look at this wiki i found, you will understand what i am talking about (zillions of information and pacthings and scripts, etc,etc,etc...) http://pvanhoof.be/wiki/index.php/In..._nx9010_laptop

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I dont really care who they are, or what is at steak here, all i know is that, if it was not meant for linux, they should have said so in the first place, right? Linux community can't be that invisible for them to claim they forgot or that they are unworthy. I am felling very frustrated at having to boot windows to do stuff i would regularly do on linux, my freedom of speech is being violated (i mean it).
This "crazy" idea came to me two months ago because i dont have my graphics card working properly ( i cant view a movie with a screen larger than a pack of cigarretes, and on windows everything works nicely, fullcsreen) hardware companies (HP especifically) have a civil right of shipping their goods with the real possibility of choice. At this time i am being laughed at
because of my stubburness, but hey, praise the lord, i am NOT CRAZY.

check this HP link:

I would like you to comment on this.

the Linux Community, is freedom of speech.

regards

LQ is not the place for this. If you are looking for advice and guidance on a lawsuit (and I do not think you have a case), you should go to a more legally oriented site.
