Non ASCII (language specific) characters in filenames?

How can I enable that. Or in other word, how can I enable feature to allow characters like "čćš" in filename.

PS. I am using reiser FS on my Slackware 10.0

Either:

Change the default ISO character set in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh to your local one, or change lang.sh to use UTF-8 instead (Slackware does not use Unicode by default). If you want to go the UTF-8 route, see the Slackware FAQ in my .sig for more information.

Also, you should allow at least 24 hours to expire before bumping your own thread.
