No sound?!
 
I have soundblaster live installed in my system. Though the music is loaded on one of the music players in Mandrake Linux 9.1, but I cannot hear the music. What could be the reason and how to resolve?

I'm no professional but I did have the same problem. I had to set PnP OS to no in the bios and rerun soundconfig.

check the volume levels of the sound mixer..........they might be too low.
