No GUI login option


Hi , I have Red hat 9 and was wondering which line I change in inittab to get the command line login at boot up?

It's annoying cuz, even after you've logged in under text mode, to get into X you have to type xdm / gdm / kdm (one of those) and log in again!

No, you don't. I login in text mode, and all I have to do to get into X is login in text mode, and type "startx". No need to start the display manager and log in again. =)
