No ext3 partition capability in partition magic....

So how would I make an ext3 partition on my drive? I want to install red hat 9. Does that have an option upon install that lets you choose an ext3 file system? Just wondering cause partition magic has only ext2 option and that's what i used for mandrake 9.1

You can convert ext2 filesystem to ext3 afterwards by running command
[code]tune2fs -j /dev/hdXX[code], where hdXX is the partition in question.

Just use Partition Magic to free up some space, then create the Linux partitions in the free space during the Linux install. The RedHat installer comes with a pretty good partitioning piece.
