new qmail install changes from address to domain@domain

Hi All,
Looking for a little assistance.
Just setup a new qmail install. When I send a test email via telnet it changes the from address to domain@domain.

When I check the qmail logs it does show the address correctly.

Thanks,
Mike

I probably should have elaborated on this.

I set it up with a virtual domain. only for forwarding mail to another domain.

When it forwards it changes the from address to the domain it is accepting for @ the domain it is accepting it for.

For the life of me I can't figure out how it's doing that.

Thanks,

mike
