Yes I've installed the new drivers on RedHat 9.0 with its STOCK kernel, it said ther was an OpenGL error as usual then it started to build a module, i get now 2200 fps give or take a 100 or 2, 800x600, on 24 bit mode. I went to play CS 1.6 and 1.5 i am VERY pleazed with the reults, i get an average on 1.5 about 45 fps, on 1.6 i get like arund 60-99(dont understand maybe bug?)
Anyways I love my radeon 9600 non pro its awsome, havent tryed any other games yet. But when i do ill see to it that i will give a response. All in all its awsome i didn't have to hack anything to get it to work, and I was happy to put away my GeForce2 MX400 for good. Im sure i can get better gameplay with a new kernel, I just don't know how to recompile, doesn't matter Im gonna re-install Mandrake 9.2 and have perfect everything. :-)
