I need help with this question I got

I know its not good to post question from a interview on to a forums. But this question is killing me. I can not think of the answer. if some one could please shine some light on this question.

You have decided to add a new network daemon/service to your Unix/Linux system. Decribe the tree main places you could add the new daemon/service and the advantages/disadvantages of each, i.e why would you choose one over aother?

Once again I am sorry, but please help me.

Would you like us to take the test for you as well.. Just kidding.

You have to ask yourself chamkila, what do you think the answer is ? Have you tried any searches yet ? This is definitely something you will want to answer on your own really.

Also changed thread title

I tried searching for the information on the net and looking in a few books and was unable to find any information. Sorry for the bad title.
