Any attempt to open the address book crashes netscape. Have used update agent from 4.75 to 4.76 but the problem stills exists. Is there a diagnostic that can track what is happening?

If this error wasn't occuring prior to the update I'd say the update broke something. Copy the address book to a floppy and reinstall Netscape from scratch then try importing the address book again.
