Question Netscape 6.2.1 My Sidebar

I can't seem to get my side bar working...unless I run it as root I would prefer not runningjavascript:smilie('') X as root. And running su from a term to start it defeats the purpose of a GUI.javascript:smilie('')

I've tried changing ownership of the /usr/local/netscape directory recursivley and various permissions to no avail. Any Ideas??
The sidebar works if I start netscape from a term as root..
but not as user.

RH 7.2 on P4 1.5 w/768 RAM 20G dedicated drive.

thanx in advance

run netscape in the foreground of an xterm and see what kind of errors you are getting.

I had the same problem. Remove the .mozilla files and you should be fine.
