Netmod slow initialization with kppp?
 
I use mandrake 9.2 . I have intracom's netmod modem configured 100% as described in their site's pdf guide. I connect 2 the internet fine.I use kppp 2 connect 2 the internet. With one irritating problem though : At the begining the initialization command (ATB40 since i have an 64 Kbps isdn connection) takes about 1+ minute to respond ok and some times it doesn't respond with the first time and i c in my terminal ATB40ATB40ATB40 etc etc. Why is that? Anybody using netmod who could help would be very appreciated!

Hmm.I now use xisp dialer whic connects in less than 6 seconds tottaly! So, kppp bug that is?
