I'm guessing you live in the US then? Over here in the UK Amazon, and the video company they bough LoveFilm, moved to Silverlight a while ago.
That said it never occurred to me to try Amazon Prime video in the latest Chrome build, which I think I have anyway.

Don't use a Silverlight test site. The results won't be relevant. The whole point of this is to use Netflix without having Silverlight involved in any way.

I need to try Google Play video. Same HAL-based Flash DRM as Amazon Prime, AFAIK, so if Amazon Prime works then Google Play Video should work too.
