Hi folks!
I have a problem with net-SNMP in my Linux machine. My kernel version is 2.4.21. I've installed net-SNMP 5.1.3 and used snmptrapd to catch the traps sent to me. I've written the following line in my snmptrapd.conf:
traphandle default /usr/test
The test program just says "Hello World" and ends. It was compiled using gcc. When a trap comes to my machine I should see my test program running but it does not work.
Previously I have done the same thing on a windows server (with a net-snmp version suitable for windows, of course) and it works perfectly. Now I have to do it on Linux and, surprisingly for me (given that net-snmp is mainly for Linux), it does not work.
Could somebody help?
Thanks in advance
