Need to setup a subdomain in Tomcat 5.5.9 CentOS 4.2

Hello,

This is my first post on LinuxQuestions. I am running Tomcat 5 on a CentOS 4.2 box. I have a web site, example.com. I need to make a subdomain on the same box with the same web pages. I want this new site to be new.example.com. Any help would be very appreciated. I am anxiously waiting for a reply. If more info about the setup is needed please tell me what to provide. Thanks in advance.

James Glenn,

Edit: Good ol' trial and error. I got it to work.

I should write this stuff down...

Well its been so long and I have not had to do it since so I forget exactly but I know it involves the server.xml file and the Alias directive. I found a tutorial that contains those keywords and looks good. http://www.csse.uwa.edu.au/~ryan/tech/tomcat.html
Good luck.

Thanks,
James Glenn
