Need minimenu (kinda Android like) for my debian box?

Hi,

I would like to ask whether a port of this wonderful, powerful, menu
http://pandorawiki.org/images/Minimenu_Games.png

exists for Ubuntu/Debian. It is very comfortable to pilot with an irda infrared remote.

I wrote a themeable tabbed launcher for kiosks that runs in Python which is kind of similar to this, maybe this would be interesting to you:

http://github.com/alandmoore/KiLauncher

There's also lxlauncher, which is meant to emulate the interface on the original eeePC.

Thank you a lot.

I look at ...

- Another question, would you know an Internet browser like android that can be piloted by
the arrow of an infra red remote control.

I have only:

Return
left,
right,
up
down
and Esc.

In fullscreen of course ... and like android. Simple and working / powerful.

Best regards

Can't think of one, apart from text-mode browsers which use arrow keys to navigate through the links. But honestly I don't know how you'd navigate a browser with just those buttons.

How would Pygame make use of gcc? I'm not really at a place to take on some big project ATM...

Look there is here a little code example, of a menu in very few lines, and it seems promising to update it a bit very simply.

What do you think?

(rename the txt to tgz, unpack with tar -xzf pack.tgz, and more run.sh ; read ok ; sh run.sh )
